There is a lack of research on corporate social responsibility of the public enterprise, although this has been active social phenomena recently. The purpose of this study is to investigate systematically a case of Mine Reclamation Corporation which has been performed community development effectively through strategic corporate social responsibility and to provide useful information for other public corporations. Mine Reclamation Corporation has been performed strategic corporate social responsibility systematically by connecting five distinct business areas and five themes of those activities strategically. Through this activities, Mine Reclamation Corporation has been contributed to increase community environment, education, culture and welfare levels. By analyzing this case, we proposed future direction of CSR for Mine Reclamation Corporation to be sustainable and long-term strategic corporate social responsibility in the community.
