Abstract

Recently on-line cyber lectures become more poplar with the rapid development of Internet. In this perspective we need in-depth research on the effectiveness and satisfaction of on-line cyber lectures to implement more successful cyber lecture systems. This study selects the factors that are related to the effectiveness and satisfaction of Data-mining on-line cyber lecture from a wide literature survey. Those factors include students' past experience of cyber lecture, their knowledge of management, their knowledge of computers, their attitude, system stability, access frequencies, learning time, operational ability of lecture tools, and so on.Regression analysis shows that the factors of students' past experience of cyber lecture, system stability and students' knowledge of computers are significantly related to the effectiveness and satisfaction of Data-mining on-line cyber lecture. This results show that on-line cyber lecture systems such as Data-mining cyber lecture system will be more successful when cyber lectures become more popular among computer-oriented students with more stable network/hardware systems.
